We got nine inches of heavy, wet snow that shut us down on Friday. On Saturday, enough of it had melted that the kids and I went into town and ran a bunch of errands, including pants-shopping for Maia.
Once in Duluth, we figured out we could find Matt's train and see him in action. After triangulating with him a couple of times, we caught up with the train heading up Beck's Road, and saw him waving from the loco. The kids were wildly impressed (and so was I). And did I have a camera with me? No.
"I love you, Dah-dee!" Maia called as the train went rattling down the track. "Next stop, pants!"
