Where the Lunch Ladies Shop

This was my favorite souvenir from my trip last week.

It says:

Batchelor's
MUSHY
Original
Cooked dry peas
Artifically colored

The Brits might have our number when it comes to religion (ahem, Silver), but fortunately their cuisine isn't about the conquer the world.

Krups, where I'm from, they put a meat pie in a bowl of mushy peas and call it a "pie floater".

  2. Y'know, I'm thinking that "cuisine" might be a bit generous.
