Well, in my opinion it really matters what you're writing . . . but then, I'm a sell-out marketing manager so I've got no leg to stand on. I bailed on editorial for more fun and more money in marketing. At least I'm still working with books! And to be honest, I write a lot more in marketing than I ever did in editorial.
